Here's my best banana bread recipe for you! I think banana bread is always a good idea. It's super easy, suits every occasion and tastes so delicious! I like the banana bread best with chocolate drops. You will love it!

  • 1 Loaf pan (30 x 11 cm)

Ingredients

These Ingredients make:

8 Servings (1 banana bread = 8-10 servings)
  • 2 Bananas ripe
  • 100 g Margarine
  • 90 ml Maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 150 g Wheat flour type 450 or spelt flour type 630
  • 50 g Oat flakes
  • 2 EL Applesauce /Apple puree
  • 200 ml Plant drink (oat, almond, soy...)
  • 1 TL Cinnamon
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 2 TL Baking powder
  • 200 g vegan chocolate drops bittersweet

Toppings

  • something Chocolate
  • 1 Banana halved

Instructions
 

Preparations

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees fan.
  2. Line a baking tin with baking paper.
  3. Peel the bananas and mash them to a pulp.

Mix the dough

  1. Melt the margarine and mix with the mashed banana, syrup, flour, rolled oats, apple sauce, oat milk, cinnamon, a pinch of salt and baking powder.
  2. Then fold in the chocolate drops.

Shape and bake

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin.
  2. Cut a banana in half lengthwise and place on the dough (press in lightly)
  3. Spread the chocolate over the dough.
  4. Bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cut into slices, serve and enjoy the juicy banana bread to the full!
