Homemade pistachio butter

Here's a recipe using just one ingredient: pistachios! If you have a high-performance mixer or blender at home, I recommend you give it a try. Because fresh pistachio purée has a very special flavor! As a side dish, I recommend stale bread and cream cheese.

Instructions
 

Roasting pistachios

  1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees fan.
  2. Spread the pistachios on a baking tray and roast in the oven for 6 minutes.

Making pistachio purée

  1. Process the roasted pistachios in a blender on a low setting to a puree.
  2. Stop the blender occasionally and stir the pistachio puree to achieve a uniform consistency.

Enjoy with bread and toppings

  1. Spread slices of bread generously with vegan cream cheese.
  2. Cover the freshly spread bread generously with the homemade pistachio butter.
  3. Sprinkle chopped pistachios and dried flowers over the pistachio puree as toppings.
